Heartsaver CPR

This course is designed to teach CPR to all lay rescuers such as school children and family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death. The curriculum consists of adult one-rescuer CPR and relief of foreign body airway obstruction. Also included are risk factors leading to heart disease and stroke, prudent heart living, signs and signals for action and chain of survival. Additional information includes the use of barrier devices. This course is designed for individuals who are required to obtain a course completion card, a credential documenting completion of a CPR course. A course completion card is provided to participants when they successfully complete skill performance. Can be taught in the following combinations:

Adult/Child CPR and Choking
Infant CPR and Choking
Course length: 3 hours (add ½ hour for infant CPR)

This course is offered in Spanish language.
